New River Head

Manhattan Loft Corporation were lured back to Clerkenwell by the exhilarating prospect of redeveloping this magnificent Edwardian landmark.

Located next to Sadler’s Wells Theatre, New River Head is a six-storey Grade II listed development comprising 129 luxury apartments set in an acre of private gardens. MLC ensured the building’s French classical façade and period features were painstakingly restored – from the vast parquet and marble flooring to the imposing Doric columns and magnificent glass-roofed atrium.

Named after the canal built in 1613 to supply fresh drinking water to London and former headquarters of the Thames Water Board, New River Head is an exquisite piece of Clerkenwell’s social and cultural heritage.
