In collaboration with Hackney Council, Network Rail, and the GLA, Manhattan Loft developed the concept for a new luxury fashion district in Hackney Central. MLC commissioned renowned architect David Adjaye to design golden shutters for the restored railway arches, creating retail space for a series of outlet stores. Joining Burberry, Pringle, Aquascutum, Bally and Anya Hindmarch are brands including Nike, Matches Fashion, Zadig & Voltaire and Joseph. Hackney Walk officially opened in September 2016.
