Named after Thomas Edison, the world’s most prolific inventor and innovative thinker, this 1930s Art Deco building has been transformed into a striking loft-style commercial development. The extensive office space represents the first project of its type for award-winning architect David Adjaye.
With The Edison, Manhattan Loft Corporation has returned to its roots, taking advantage of the six-storey building with generous ceiling heights in order to create an open-plan loft-style working environment.
Having become the new headquarters of Manhattan Loft Corporation and Adjaye Associates, The Edison is set to become the workplace of other leading design related firms within the capital.
Dramatic space, dramatic colours and an incredible geometry

Really, really special. Unlike anything else around town. There isn’t another interesting office building of this kind
