Dominating the dockside at Canary Wharf, Port East Apartments is a refurbishment of Grade I listed warehouses. The warehouses were reputedly built by French prisoners of the Napoleonic war during the 19th Century. Manhattan Loft Corporation seized upon this sacrosanct building to create its signature lofts.

Within the context of a master plan by Michael Squire and in partnership with MWB Group, this mixed use development comprises residential loft apartments, cinemas, restaurants, bars and leisure and retail activities, on a site covering one million square feet.

Dominating the docksides of West India Quay, Port East Apartments provided MLC with a truly unforgettable setting for its signature lofts. A series of Grade I listed masonry and timber warehouses, reputedly built by prisoners of the Napoleonic War, in a prime London location.

The heritage and charm of this 18th century building was celebrated with a sensitive restoration, promoting the original timber beams, exposed brickwork and oak flooring to create 107 unique apartments.

Michael Squire, in partnership with MWB Group, integrated contemporary design to create a mixed-use development spanning 1 million sq ft, comprised of restaurants, bars, cinema, leisure and retail facilities
