The Factory is a loft development in its purest form. A derelict industrial building reborn as stylish contemporary living space in a creative district of the city.

Located at the heart of the triangle drawn by Clerkenwell, Islington and Shoreditch, this abandoned Edwardian printworks was converted into 50 iconic loft apartments, including 13 rooftop penthouses. Most were peeled back to their industrial frame of exposed brickwork, huge windows and high ceilings and sold as shells to encourage a design-led clientele to create their own space.

Named after Andy Warhol’s notorious New York loft studio, The Factory quickly became an emblem for London loft-living and the design revolution that transformed this part of the city.
